JACOBS JOIN LUNCH: After the SportsReach Awards Service on Sunday 2 June there will be a Jacobs Join lunch. Please do stay for lunch and meet the children, parents and coaches who have been part of the Soccer and Netball school. If possible please could you bring a little extra food to feed the extra guests we are expecting. Many thanks.

Caton Gala - Sat 8th June

Once again we will be having a marquee on the gala field - if anyone is able to help out in the afternoon with activities for the children could they please sign up on the sheet on the notice board. This is a great outreach opportunity. If you require more info about it please see either Annette A, Helena or Ruth W.

Also for the Gala we will need some extra large strong cardboard boxes - if you can provide any or know where we could get some from then please speak to Annette, Helena or Ruth. Thank you.

Church Camp - Fri 21 - Sun 23 June 2013

Once more this will be at Gibraltar Farm, Silverdale. Make sure this date is in your dairy and if you want to go please see Ruth Woodhouse to book your place or for further details.

DVDs of the Baptism service are now available. Please see Anthony if you would like one.

Fundraiser for Mission Albania - Sat 29th June 7.00 pm Please book this date in your diaries. Tickets will be £8.00 per person or £30.00 for a Family Ticket. This will include a four course chinese banquet and a quiz to include all the family. Please sign up on the sheet on the Youth Notice Board. Please see Annette Arnold if you require more details.

Foodbank Update

We would like to thank everyone for their continued support for Morecambe Bay Foodbank. We are hoping to arrange a supermarket collection day in the near future and if anyone would like to volunteer some of their time to help please keep an eye out for further information.

The following items are currently in short supply so if you happen to see them on special offer please do consider blessing us with them; toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, cordial, snacks (crisps, chocolate).

Safeguarding Notice:

The next wave of training is available for anyone who missed out last time. The Foundation Module is a Safeguarding training session for presbyters, deacons, workers with children & young people, stewards, local preachers and worship leaders, Pastoral Visitors. Places are available on

Or Monday 17th June 2013 At Dolphinholme

The sessions are from 7.00pm until 9.30pm
