Things you've Missed
Here's some of what you have missed in recent months - to give you a flavour of what goes on.
The Big Weekend - for teens and other youth - had a great weekend looking at "The Banquet: Taste and see that the Lord is Good". Over 80 young people from a dozen local churches met, sang, praised and prayed.
We said farewell to Peter, Carole, Anastasia and Chanel. We had a great time at Family Fun.
We had a Ceilidh to celebrate Harvest and to welcome Roy and Gladys.
We had a Light Party to celebrate Jesus, the Light of the World.
Shoeboxes, shoeboxes and more shoeboxes. We wrapped them, we packed them, we filled a truck with them and we sent them off to Eastern Europe to make children there smile.
We had a variety show, with singers, dancers, a magician, sketches and all sorts.
Meet to Eat had their Christmas lunch. And jolly good it was too.
Our Nativity performance had everything you could wish for.
We looked at Jacob's Ladder at Messy Church, with nuggets and chips after.
We heard from TeachBeyond about their work in the Far East
Our Vision Night selected the aim for 2018 to be working on relationships.
Following a Jacob's Join lunch, we looked at the story of Jairus's Daughter at Messy Church, with Tuna and Pasta Bake after. And we interviewed and appointed a new Youth and Families worker - Gordon - who will start in the summer.
